The XS Sights Big Dot Tritium front sight takes the tiny factory bead on your Remington shotgun and swaps it for something your eye actually finds fast. The oversized front dot demands your attention and helps you index on target quicker than a standard bead, which matters most on a defensive shotgun where you're moving fast under pressure. This one is a do-it-yourself job. The underside of the sight has a cavity that fits over your existing front bead, and you secure it with a two-part epoxy like Brownells Acraglas Gel or J-B Weld. Fill the cavity, press it down over the bead, and let it fully cure. Once set, it's rock solid and there's no drilling, tapping, or professional gunsmithing involved.
The sight is CNC machined from solid steel bar stock with a blued, matte black finish, so it holds up to hard use and rough handling. It's made to work with Remington factory beads in the .125 to .140 inch diameter range.
