Description

The XS R3D 2.0 gives your small-frame Glock a front sight you can find fast, day or night. Up front you get a Swiss-made tritium vial wrapped in XS's photoluminescent orange Glow Dot, which soaks up ambient light to pop in daylight and keeps glowing once the sun drops. Behind it sits a blacked-out, serrated rear with a pair of tritium lamps that light up sight alignment without ever outshining the front. That balance is the whole point of the R3D setup: your eye goes straight to the front dot every time you present the gun.

What Sets the R3D 2.0 Apart From the Original

This second-generation set runs bigger, brighter tritium in the rear and a larger convex polymer dot for cleaner indexing. The rear notch measures 0.170 inches wide against a 0.145-inch front blade, so there's plenty of daylight on both sides of the post for quick, repeatable alignment even in bad light. The serrated rear cuts glare, and there's a built-in ledge that lets you rack the slide one-handed off a belt or boot heel if you ever need to.

Built for Everyday Carry Wear

The R3D 2.0 is CNC machined from steel and wears a BlackNitride finish that XS rates at roughly 50% better corrosion resistance than black oxide, so it shrugs off sweat, holster wear, and the occasional bump. The tritium is rated for around 12 years of glow. XS also reworked the dovetail dimensions on the 2.0, which cuts installation force by about half and makes life easier whether you're running a sight pusher at home or handing it to a gunsmith.

Fitment for Your Slim Glock

This standard-height set drops into the Glock 42, 43, 43X, and 48. It's a traditional notch-and-post iron sight setup, so it's a clean, no-optic upgrade that works great as a daily carry solution. If you run a subcompact micro red dot like a Holosun 507k that sits down in the slide cut, these irons play nicely alongside it.
