The XRS Enclosed Forend steps up your MDT XRS Chassis System with a completely enclosed design that wraps around the barrel for protection while giving you mounting flexibility your factory forend can't match. Built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with hard black anodizing, this thing is built to last through anything you throw at it.
Unlike the standard XRS forend, the enclosed version runs integral ARCA rail the entire length of the forend. If you're running a precision rifle setup or competition rig, you get continuous rail for mounting bipods, tripods, or other ARCA-compatible gear without gaps or adapters. The RRS dovetail compatibility adds even more mounting options for your specific needs.
You get extra M-LOK mounting points at 10:30, 12 o'clock, and 1:30 positions specifically designed for accessories like clip-on night vision, thermal devices, lights, and weights. The top interface is engineered with NV integration in mind and will co-witness an M-LOK Picatinny rail at 20 MOA when paired with the MDT High Scope Base on Remington 700 inlets. Those additional mounting points give you real flexibility without cluttering your rifle with rails you don't need.
This forend drops in as a direct replacement for the factory XRS forend. It reuses your existing polymer side panels, so you're keeping the chassis you already have while just upgrading the business end. Installation is straightforward with all hardware included. The forend handles up to 1.25-inch barrel profiles, though wider M-LOK-mounted accessories might interfere at that size. It's also compatible with the XRS Forend Weight if you want to dial in your rifle's balance.
