There's a certain feel to a walnut stock that synthetic just can't touch, and the Woox Superleggera leans into that hard. Built for the Tikka T3 and T3x, this version pairs hand-selected American walnut with a carbon-reinforced SLS core to bring the whole assembly down to roughly 35 ounces. That's genuinely light for a wood stock, and the trick is where Woox puts the material: walnut lives at the touch points where your hands and cheek meet the rifle, while the carbon-reinforced mini chassis handles the structural load where you'd normally find heavier aluminum. This is a stock built for the field, where every ounce matters on a long climb and the shot comes when it comes.
At the heart of it is a V-Block Bedding Mini Chassis that cradles the action and keeps everything consistent from shot to shot. Woox ran field testing that put groups down around .278 MOA, a meaningful jump over the factory stock. The barrel channel free-floats, so pressure from a bipod or sling won't push your point of impact around. Install is drop-in with no gunsmithing, pillars, or extra bedding needed. You're looking at two action screws torqued to spec and you're back in business.
This is the adjustable cheek riser configuration, which lets you set comb height to line up cleanly behind a modern optic. Length of pull adjusts from 13.5 to 14.5 inches using the included spacers, and the recoil pad is vertically adjustable to fine-tune your cheek weld and shoulder position. Up front, the forend carries a Picatinny section, M-Lok slots, and an integrated QD point, so mounting a bipod, sling, or accessory is straightforward.
Woox stocks are made in Italy and assembled and tested in the USA, and because they start with real walnut, no two are exactly alike in grain and figure. Overall length runs 31 inches. Yes. This model is inletted specifically for the Tikka T3 and T3x action and installs as a true drop-in. You won't need pillars, extra bedding, or a trip to the gunsmith, just torque the two action screws to spec and you're set.
No. On this Tikka fitment the bottom metal is not included, so you'll want to plan for a compatible DBM setup if you're running a detachable box magazine. The Ruger American version is the exception where it does come with bottom metal.
The whole stock lands around 35 ounces, which is remarkably light for a real wood stock.
