The bolt is through-hardened chromoly with three locking lugs, a short 60 degree lift that clears big scope eyepieces, and a nickel Teflon coating that keeps it running slick. A bolt unlock button lets you cycle unfired rounds with the safety on, and the cocking indicator on the shroud gives you a quick visual and tactile check.
