The Silent Bandit 6 is the six-baffle version of the lineup, running a full titanium baffle stack inside a titanium tube for a can that measures 6.41 inches long and weighs a hair over 13 ounces. On a 5.56 host you're looking at an average of 31 dB of sound reduction, which takes the sharp crack of a carbine down to something a whole lot more pleasant at the range or in the deer woods.
One of the smarter parts of this design is the gas management system. It's tuned to control gas flow and cut back pressure, which means less blowback in your face and a semi-auto that stays cleaner and cycles more reliably. Anyone who has run a high back pressure can on a gassy AR knows what a difference that makes over a long range day. The 1.75 inch tube diameter keeps the profile slim enough that it won't block your irons or turn your rifle into a nose-heavy club.
The hub mount and end cap are machined from H13 tool steel with a black nitride finish, and both thread on and off via 1-3/8-24 threads so you can pull the baffle stack for cleaning without any drama. The HUB pattern also means you're not locked into proprietary mounts. Run the included 1/2×28 direct thread setup, swap in a quick-detach adapter, or move the can between hosts as your collection grows. It even plays nice with Wilson's QUELL K-Mount interface if you already own one of those. The whole thing wears a high-temperature version of Wilson's Armor-Tuff finish, a non-reflective coating that shrugs off corrosion and abrasion.

Wilson Combat rates the Silent Bandit at an average of 31 dB of sound reduction. That takes a typical 16 inch AR from painful to comfortable for range sessions, and the six-baffle stack gives you a bit more suppression than the shorter five-baffle model. Supersonic 5.56 will still have a crack downrange, as with any can, but the muzzle blast at your ear is dramatically tamed.

You can. Both the H13 steel hub mount and the end cap thread off, giving you full access to the titanium baffle stack for cleaning and maintenance. Centerfire rifle cans do a decent job of self-cleaning, but it's a nice option to have if you shoot a lot or run dirtier ammo.
The six-baffle version measures 6.41 inches long and weighs 13.3 ounces, with a slim 1.75 inch outer diameter. The titanium construction keeps it light enough that it won't wreck the balance of a carbine or hunting rifle. If you want something even shorter, Wilson also offers a five-baffle version at 5.76 inches, though you give up a little suppression.
