This specific model (SFT9CM42A) comes with iron sights only, specifically a red fiber optic front sight and a Wilson Combat Battlesight rear. It is not optics-cut from the factory. Wilson Combat does offer optic-ready SFT9 variants if a red dot is on your wish list, so it is worth making sure you have the right configuration for your setup.
The ambi thumb safety runs the same familiar 1911-style layout, just mirrored on both sides of the frame.
