The tube is aircraft-grade certified stainless steel with proprietary welding and a refined radius that virtually eliminates common failure points like feed lip cracking, tube spread, and general fatigue. The fiber-fill nylon follower is self-lubricating and designed with an extended skirt to keep rounds stable as they feed. Heavy-duty stainless steel springs are built with maximum tensile strength to handle the extra slide velocity from full-power .45 ACP loads without breaking down over time. The removable polymer base pad gives you a reliable grip when pulling the magazine from your pistol or gear, especially in wet conditions or tight pouches.
This magazine works as a direct replacement or spare for the 1911 Elite Tactical and fits any full-size 1911 frame that accepts standard magazines. The design prioritizes smooth operation in combat, competition, and range environments. The observation slots are positioned at the rear of the tube to let you see your round count without compromising structural integrity. If the tube ever fails from normal use, Wilson Combat replaces it for free.
