VKTR Industries designed this rifle in collaboration with Paul Leitner-Wise, and it carries eight patents covering its internals, including a self-regulating low-profile piston system that runs cleaner and cooler than a standard gas gun without adding bulk. It even took home the Golden Triggr Award for Most Innovative Long Gun at TriggrCon 2023. This version wears a Sniper Grey Cerakote finish that looks as good in person as it does in photos.
The 13.7 inch barrel with a pinned and welded muzzle device hits a 16 inch overall barrel length, giving you a shorter, handier rifle without the extra paperwork of a short-barreled build. That makes this configuration a favorite among suppressor owners who want a compact host. The barrel itself is cold hammer forged with a heavy profile, machined cooling flutes, a 1:7 twist, and a QPQ nitride treatment, then thermal fit to the forged 7075-T6 upper receiver to lock in accuracy and eliminate heat-related point of impact shift. The upper rail forms one continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny surface, and the free-float M-LOK handguard keeps the whole package slim.
There is nothing on this rifle begging for an immediate upgrade. You get a 4.5 pound single stage Hiperfire trigger, a Radian Raptor charging handle, a Magpul MOE SL stock, MOE K2 grip, and enhanced trigger guard. The forged lower features fully ambidextrous controls, including the safety selector, mag release, and bolt catch, so left-handed users are covered from day one. The one-piece chrome-finished bolt carrier uses integrated studs to absorb piston impact and a patented cam path for consistent lockup shot after shot.
