The Viridian E Series brings straightforward laser performance to GX4 owners who want to cut down their time-to-target without adding bulk or complexity. This model-specific laser mounts directly to your trigger guard, integrating seamlessly with the compact Taurus platform and preserving the slim profile that made the GX4 your choice to begin with.
Built from high-strength thermo-molded polymer in matte black, the E Series handles whatever conditions you put it through. The red laser delivers up to 25 yards of visibility in daylight and stretches to a full mile at night, giving you reliable aiming reference in everything from indoor home defense to outdoor range sessions. It's the most powerful red laser legally available for this class of sight, so you get genuine performance without compromise.
Installation takes about five minutes and requires no permanent modifications to your pistol. The ambidextrous on/off buttons sit right where your trigger finger naturally rests during your draw, letting you activate the laser as part of your presentation. A 5-minute auto shut-off preserves your CR2032 battery, giving you 6 hours of constant-on operation between changes. Windage and elevation adjustments are straightforward, so zeroing the laser to your point of aim doesn't require special tools or frustration.
This package pairs the laser with a right-hand IWB Kydex holster, purpose-built to fit the pistol with laser attached. The holster adds retention and concealability without the fumbling around trying to fit an aftermarket rig designed for something else. If you carry appendix or strong-side IWB, you've got a complete solution out of the box.
No, this laser is designed specifically for the Taurus GX4 and GX4XL. It does not fit the Taurus GX4 Carry model. Always confirm your exact pistol model before purchasing to ensure proper fit and function.
The included Kydex IWB holster is fitted for the GX4 with laser attached. If you want to use your existing holster, you may need a custom rig designed for laser-equipped GX4s. Many aftermarket holster makers now support this setup, so compatibility options exist.
The laser runs for 6 hours of constant-on use before the CR2032 battery depletes. With the 5-minute auto shutoff feature, your actual battery life between changes extends significantly during regular carry since the laser won't drain during inactive periods.
Red lasers excel in low-light conditions and indoor scenarios, making them ideal for home defense or close-range carry. If you plan significant outdoor or daylight use, the green laser model offers better visibility up to 100 yards in daylight. For pure concealed carry inside or close-range personal defense, the red is the practical choice.
