The Viridian E Series laser sight is built for everyday carry owners who want reliable target acquisition without adding bulk to their pistol. This trigger guard mounted system delivers a red laser dot that's visible during the day out to 25 yards and extends to a mile at night, giving you flexibility whether you're at the range or in varied conditions.
Made from high-strength thermoplastered polymer, this sight weighs barely three-quarters of an ounce including the battery. The compact form factor means it won't slow your draw or printing concerns when carrying concealed. Installation is straightforward and requires no gunsmithing, with the laser mounting directly to your P238 or P938's trigger guard using included hardware. The sight sits low on the gun, placing the laser dot just below the muzzle line for quick target reference.
Ambidextrous push button controls work equally well for right and left handed users, and the button placement naturally aligns with your trigger finger during the draw. A five minute auto shutoff preserves your battery when you forget to turn the laser off. The 1/3N battery provides over six hours of continuous operation, plenty of runtime for most shooting sessions.
Windage and elevation adjustments let you dial in the laser to match your point of impact, critical when switching between your carry gun and range work. Users report that zeroing is quick and straightforward, usually taking just minutes at the range. The sight delivers maximum intensity red laser output allowed under regulations, balancing visibility against eye safety.
Yes, installation is straightforward and requires no gunsmithing. The laser mounts directly to your pistol's trigger guard using the included hardware and takes just minutes to attach. Once mounted, users report it fits securely and feels stable during shooting.
The laser is visible in daylight conditions out to 25 yards, which is practical for most self-defense scenarios. While the dot may be less prominent in very bright sunlight compared to evening or indoor conditions, it remains visible and usable for target acquisition and aiming reference.
The sight uses a standard 1/3N battery and provides over 6 hours of continuous laser operation. An automatic 5 minute shutoff feature helps conserve battery if you forget to turn it off manually. You'll need to remove the entire laser unit to swap batteries.
Yes, the ambidextrous push button activation and trigger guard mount work equally well for both right and left handed users. The button placement naturally aligns with your trigger finger during the draw, regardless of which hand you favor.
