The UTG Armored QD Bipod is one of those pieces of gear that just makes sense once you shoot off it. Built from heavy-duty metal and wrapped in a protective rubber armor, it gives your rifle a stable, repeatable rest whether you're dialing in loads at the bench or steadying up for a shot in the field. The center height adjusts from 6 to 8.5 inches, which covers most prone and low-bench positions comfortably.
The rubber-armored legs are the standout here. They protect the finish and let you operate quietly, and the non-slip rubberized foot pads dig in on grass, dirt, wood benches, and just about anything else you set it on. Each leg extends independently through five posi-lock notches, then locks down with a thumb wheel so it stays put once you've got it where you want it. You also get bidirectional folding arms, so the legs tuck away cleanly when you're carrying the rifle and drop into place fast when you need them.
Mounting is where the QD version earns its keep. The integral Picatinny quick-detach lever lock lets you clamp it onto any Picatinny or Weaver rail in seconds and pull it back off just as fast, with adjustable tension so you can snug it up tight. It also ships with a swivel stud adapter, so traditional hunting rifles with a front sling stud are covered too. That makes it an easy fit for AR-platform rifles, bolt guns, and most tactical setups.
At right around 14 ounces, it adds real stability without turning your rifle into a boat anchor. For the price point, it's a lot of bipod, and the quick-detach feature makes it simple to move between rifles or stow it when you don't need it.
It clamps directly onto any Picatinny or Weaver rail using the built-in quick-detach lever lock. For rifles without a rail, an included swivel stud adapter lets you mount it to a standard front sling swivel stud instead. That covers most AR-platform rifles, bolt-action hunting rifles, and tactical setups.
The side-mounted lever clamps onto your rail and has adjustable tension, so you can snug the fit and then pop the bipod on or off in a couple of seconds. It's handy if you like to run a bipod on more than one rifle or stow it when you don't need it. Just set the tension once and you're good to go.
