Unity Tactical built the AXON SL for people who want simple, dependable control of their weapon light and laser without adding bulk to the rail. This is the smallest single-button switch in the AXON family, and it packs Unity's LINK USB-C system into a housing that measures just over an inch and a half long. You get a light lead running the LINK USB-C standard plus a Crane-spec plug for your laser, all fed through a standard 7-inch cable that gives you room to route things cleanly without leaving slack flopping around.
The button design is where this switch earns its keep. That 45-degree angled face sits at an ergonomically correct angle, which means you can index it under stress, with gloves on, or in nasty weather without hunting for it. The mechanical switch fires your light in both momentary and constant-on modes using the familiar click-tailcap feel most people already know. On the laser side, it runs a momentary-only switch so you can take advantage of the native double-click-for-constant-on function built into most common laser units.
Molded from high-impact polymer, the AXON SL holds up to real abuse. Unity's reputation was built on switches that keep working after they've been mashed, bumped by gear, and dragged through the field, and this compact version carries that same DNA. The LINK USB-C system delivers near-zero-loss power, so you get the same output you'd see from a standard rear tailcap button even with the cable in the mix.
The AXON SL hardmounts directly to an M1913 Picatinny rail, and if you run M-LOK you can pick up the optional Unity M-LOK mounting kit separately. The Crane plug plays nice with common issued lasers like the PEQ-15, DBAL, MAWL, and Wilcox units. For the light side, the LINK USB-C lead pairs with Unity's GASCAP tailcap on SureFire Scout-style, Modlite, and Arisaka light bodies, so double-check you've got the right tailcap to complete the connection.

The Crane-spec plug is built to run common issued laser units, including the PEQ-15, DBAL, BE Meyers MAWL, and Wilcox RAIDx models. It fires the laser in momentary mode, which lets you use the native double-click-for-constant-on feature found on most of these units. That keeps activation intuitive without needing a separate constant-on toggle on the switch itself.
This switch hardmounts directly to an M1913 Picatinny rail as it comes. If you're running M-LOK, Unity offers an optional AXON SL M-LOK mounting kit that's sold separately. Grab that kit and you can put the switch right on your M-LOK rail without needing a rail section adapter.
No. Unity's internal testing shows the LINK USB-C system with the AXON SL delivers the same output you'd get from a standard rear tailcap button. Any voltage drop from the cable length is so small it doesn't affect performance, so you're not trading brightness for the convenience of a remote switch.
