The Uncle Mike's Inside-The-Pant Holster in Size 12 is the kind of setup a lot of folks reach for when they want simple, comfortable concealment without a lot of bulk. It's built from an ultra-thin four-layer laminate that's no thicker than a conventional suede leather holster, so it tucks away inside the waistband and just about disappears under a shirt. The suede-like exterior helps grip the inside of your pants or skirt so it stays put, and the plastic belt clip anchors it to your waistband. This is the open-top style, which means quick access when you need it.
This one is sized for subcompact autos. It's designed around the Glock 26, 27, and 33 with their 3.25-inch barrels, and it also handles the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and Compact along with most similarly sized 9mm and .40 caliber pistols. If you're carrying a small striker-fired gun, chances are good this size covers it. This is the right-hand version, so the clip and body are oriented for a strong-side right-hand draw.
Comfort is where this holster earns its keep. It uses a plastic belt clip that hooks over your belt or waistband, and the suede-like exterior grips the inside of your pants to help anchor it. A belt makes a real difference in keeping everything stable. One thing to note is that the whole holster typically comes off with the gun when you take your pants off, which is common for soft clip-on IWB holsters.
