What the Uncle Mike's Hammer Extension Actually Does

It slips over the factory hammer spur and locks down with a set screw, so there's no drilling, filing, or permanent work on the rifle. The gripping surface is knurled, which means your thumb stays put whether you're bare-handed or wearing gloves in the deer stand. The blued finish keeps it looking right at home on a classic lever gun, and at just under 5 inches of overall length it adds the reach you need without turning your hammer into a lever the size of a doorknob.

Fitment for the Winchester 94 and Henry .22 Extension

This one is model-specific, so getting the right fit matters. It's made for Winchester 94s and Big Bore 94s including Angle-Eject models, but not the 94/22. It also fits the Ithaca X-Caliber and both the Henry Lever Action .22 and Pump Action .22. It won't work with low wall or high wall designs, so if you're running one of those you'll want a different part.

Setting Up Your Hammer Extension

Installation takes a minute and the Allen wrench comes in the package. The design works on either side of the hammer, so lefties and righties both get a natural setup. Just decide which way you cock the gun, orient the extension, then snug the set screw down tight.
