This Tyrant CNC magazine extension works with Glock 19, Glock 23, and Glock 26 magazines (Gen 4 and Gen 5), giving you a straightforward way to boost your capacity without any permanent modifications. The whole appeal here is how fast this goes on and comes off. Tyrant's retention plunger technology lets the extension slide right onto your mag base in about 10 seconds flat, and you don't need any tools at all. If you ever want to remove it, just push the plunger down and slide it off. That's it. This beats having to mess with screws or springs, especially if you're switching between different mag setups.
Because it's machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, this extension adds some real weight to the base of your magazine. You get plus 5 rounds on 9mm Glock 19 magazines, and plus 4 on .40 cal Glock 23 magazines. The extension also fits magazines that share the Glock 19/23 lower half geometry, which means it works with Glock 26 mags as well. It's designed for Gen 4 and Gen 5 platforms and maintains compatibility with Gen 6 models that use standard Glock magazine dimensions.
It's designed for standard Glock 19 and Glock 23 magazines (Gen 4 and Gen 5), and works with aftermarket options. However, it doesn't fit Magpul PMAGS. If you're using OEM Glock magazines or most aftermarket brands, you're good to go.
The whole process takes about 10 seconds or less. Slide it onto your mag base and you're done. The NoBak retention plunger does all the work for you, so there's no fussing with tools or springs. Removal is just as quick if you ever need to swap it off.
The extension only adds about 1.3 ounces, which is minimal. If anything, that extra weight at the base helps your magazines drop faster and more reliably during reloads. The machined inlay actually improves your grip on the mag, making it easier to grab and manipulate.
