Tyrant CNC built the I.T.T.S. to fix exactly that. This drop-in trigger for Gen3-4 Glocks is machined from aluminum and finished in a red and black colorway that stands out without looking gimmicky, and it's designed to replace the factory trigger group entirely rather than just swap a shoe onto old internals.
Tyrant built this trigger around three specific numbers: a 15% reduction in take-up, a 10% shorter reset travel, and a 30% stronger trigger spring compared to factory. In practical terms, that means less dead space before the break and a quicker, more defined return to the reset point between shots. The trigger face is a hybrid design, part flat and part curved, so you get a straight, repeatable pull along with a lip that stays comfortable across a range of hand sizes. Most owners report the release landing right around 5 pounds, which keeps it predictable whether you're working through drills or just putting rounds downrange.
This is a complete drop-in assembly, so it ships with both the trigger shoe and its own trigger bar rather than asking you to reuse factory parts that weren't designed for the new geometry. There's no permanent modification to the frame required, and the trigger keeps Glock's Safe Action system fully intact once it's installed. Tyrant does recommend having a certified armorer handle the swap if you're not already comfortable detail stripping your pistol, since getting the fit right matters for how the trigger ultimately feels. Fitment covers Gen3-4 Glock 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, and 39 models.
Every Tyrant CNC trigger is machined in-house in Chicago and backed by a lifetime warranty against defects, so this isn't a part you have to worry about wearing out after a few thousand rounds. The aluminum construction holds up well under heavy dry fire and range use, and the red and black finish gives an otherwise plain-Jane Glock a bit more personality without going overboard.
This version is built for Gen3-4 Glocks, covering models like the G17, G19, G22, G23, G26, G34, and several others in that generation lineup. It is not designed for the G43, 43X, 48, Gen5 pistols, or the G29, so double check your exact model and generation before ordering. Tyrant also makes separate versions of the I.T.T.S. for Gen5 and subcompact Glocks if yours falls outside this fitment.
It's a complete drop-in assembly, so the trigger bar is included and color matched to the black finish. You won't need to reuse or source a factory trigger bar to get this installed.
Installation doesn't require any permanent changes to the frame, and plenty of owners install it themselves with basic punches and a bit of patience. That said, Tyrant recommends having a certified armorer handle the swap, especially if you're not experienced with detail stripping a Glock, since proper fit affects how crisp the final trigger feels.
