TruGlo's TFX Brite-Site set brings together two proven technologies that most sights make you choose between. During daylight, the fiber-optic elements soak up ambient light and glow green so your front sight jumps out fast. When the sun goes down, Swiss tritium takes over and keeps those dots lit with no batteries, no switches, and no fuss. It's the kind of upgrade that makes you wonder why your factory sights ever shipped with plain painted dots.
The standout up front is the white FOCUS-LOCK ring around the front fiber. That bright halo pulls your eye straight to the front sight for quick, repeatable target acquisition, while the rear stays clean with no distracting white so your focus stays where it belongs. It's a small detail that makes a real difference when you're trying to line up fast in changing light.
Durability was clearly a priority here. The illuminating elements sit inside a hermetically sealed capsule that shrugs off oils, solvents, and even ultrasonic cleaning, so a routine cleaning session won't kill your dots. The bodies are CNC-machined from solid steel for a precise dovetail fit, then coated in TruGlo's rust-resistant Fortress finish. The tritium is rated to stay bright for years, and TruGlo backs the set with a 12-year limited warranty.
This is the High set, cut for the larger-frame Glock lineup including the 20, 21, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32. The compact, snag-free profile clears standard holsters without hanging up on the draw. Installation is straightforward if you've got the right tools, meaning a rear sight pusher and a Glock front sight nut driver. If you'd rather not buy a sight pusher for a one-time job, most gunsmiths will knock the install out quickly and get you dialed in.
This High set is cut for the larger-frame Glock pistols, covering the 20, 21, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32. It's specifically the taller High-height version, so double-check that your model is on the list before ordering. If you run a standard-frame Glock like a 17 or 19, you'll want the Low set instead.
No batteries required at all. The fiber-optic elements gather daylight to glow green during the day, and the Swiss tritium keeps the dots lit in the dark on its own. That tritium is rated to stay bright for years, so the sights are always ready without any power source or charging.
You'll need a rear sight pusher tool to move the dovetailed sights and a Glock front sight nut driver for the front. The front screw head is shallow, so a proper driver helps you avoid stripping it. If you'd rather not invest in tools for a single job, a local gunsmith can typically install and zero them quickly.
Yes. The tritium and fiber-optic elements are sealed inside a rugged capsule that's designed to resist oils, solvents, and even ultrasonic cleaning. That means your normal cleaning routine won't wash out or damage the illuminating elements.
