Pistol sights are pressed into the slide's dovetail rather than screwed in, so they call for a sight pusher or the proper installation tool. Plenty of owners do it themselves with the right gear, but if you don't have a sight tool, a gunsmith can drop them in and confirm your zero quickly. Truglo also makes a dedicated Glock sight tool if you'd rather handle it at home.
Tritium glows continuously and will hold usable brightness for years before it slowly dims, which is normal for any tritium sight as it ages. The green front and green rear dots give you strong contrast and fast pickup during that whole service life. When the glow eventually fades, that's the signal it's time for a fresh set.
