These are Trijicon's HD XR Suppressor/Optic Height sights built for standard-frame Glock MOS pistols, so if you're running a threaded barrel with a can or a slide-mounted micro red dot, this set gives you the extra height to see over the suppressor body and co-witness right through your optic window. They drop onto popular platforms like the G17, G19, G22, G23, G34, and G45 in the MOS configuration, and they carry over everything people already like about the HD XR line into a taller package.
The front sight is the real story here. It uses a thin .122-inch post, which is noticeably narrower than a factory Glock blade, and that slimmer profile opens up the space on either side of the post so you can see more of your target and pick up hits faster at distance. Ringing that post is a photoluminescent orange paint outline that glows and pulls your focal eye straight to the front sight during bright and transitional light. When the lights go out, self-luminous green tritium lamps take over on both the front and rear with zero batteries required.
The rear is a blacked-out U-notch with an angled, serrated forward face that cuts glare and keeps your attention on that bright front dot instead of the rear sight. It's a subdued rear paired with a loud front, which is the whole point of the HD design philosophy. Everything is machined from solid steel, so these hold zero and take a beating under hard slide recoil.
Because of the taller suppressor-height profile, these sights double as dependable backup irons behind a slide-mounted reflex optic, giving you a lower-third co-witness if your dot ever goes dark. The tritium lamps carry a 12-year warranty from the date of manufacture. Trijicon recommends professional installation for any sight swap, and a proper sight pusher and front sight tool make the job go smoothly.
