The 28" barrel is chrome-lined for corrosion resistance and easy cleanup, topped with a vent rib, matted sight plane, and a fiber optic front sight that grabs your eye fast in low light. TriStar threads the muzzle for Beretta/Benelli Mobil chokes and includes improved cylinder, modified, and full tubes with a wrench and choke box, which covers you from close flushes over a pointer to long passing shots on geese. The E-Z Load magazine cut-off is a handy touch too, letting you swap the shell in the chamber without emptying the magazine when a different bird presents itself.
The black synthetic stock and forend wear TriStar's Soft Touch finish, which gives you a grippy, comfortable hold even with cold or wet hands. A rubber recoil pad takes the sting out of heavy loads, and factory swivel studs mean you can throw on a sling for the hike in. At around 6.8 pounds, it carries easily all day without feeling whippy on crossing targets.

Yes, this is a dedicated left-hand model, not just a right-handed gun with a reversed safety. Ejection is set up on the left side, so spent hulls kick away from your face instead of across your line of sight. For left-eye-dominant and left-handed hunters, it makes a noticeable difference in comfort and follow-up shots.
The gas-operated action is designed to handle everything from light 2 3/4" target loads to heavy 3" magnum waterfowl shells. Like most gas guns, it may want a short break-in period with heavier loads before it settles in with the lightest stuff. Once broken in, it's a versatile gun for clays, upland birds, and the duck blind.
The barrel is threaded for Beretta/Benelli Mobil-style choke tubes, one of the most common patterns out there, so aftermarket options are easy to find. Improved cylinder, modified, and full tubes come in the box along with a wrench and storage case, covering most hunting and clays situations right away.
It does. A magazine plug is included to limit capacity for migratory bird hunting, and TriStar designed it for quick removal when you want the full 5+1 capacity. The E-Z Load magazine cut-off is another nice feature, letting you swap the chambered shell without running the magazine dry.
