The stock is cut to a 13 inch length of pull, which fits smaller frames the way a full-size gun never will, and the whole package comes in at a manageable 42.75 inches overall. Add the Muddy Girl camo synthetic stock and forend over a matte blue receiver, and you have a gun that stands out on the rack and holds up to real field use.
The 24 inch chrome-lined barrel wears a vent rib with a red fiber optic front sight that grabs your eye fast, whether you are swinging on a crossing dove or tracking a flushing rooster. The 3 inch chamber and 5+1 capacity give you room to run everything from light 2-3/4 inch target loads up to heavier hunting shells, and the gas system cycles that whole range reliably. Sling swivel studs come installed from the factory, which is a nice touch for long walks to the blind, and a rubber butt pad takes a little more sting out of every shot.
TriStar includes three mobil-pattern choke tubes, Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full, so this gun can handle skeet fields, upland cover, and tighter shots on squirrels or turkeys without buying anything extra. The Beretta/Benelli Mobil thread pattern also means aftermarket tubes are easy to find down the road.
