Description
The APOC is TriStar's entry into the compact 9mm market, and it's a serious one. Built by Kral Arms in Turkey and imported by TriStar out of Missouri, this pistol takes the Gen 3 Glock 19 blueprint and runs with it. Same grip angle, similar dimensions, Glock-compatible magazines and sights, and a holster fit that works with just about anything already made for the G19. The frame comes in Sniper Gray Cerakote paired with a black serrated steel slide, giving it a clean two-tone look that stands out without trying too hard.
What Makes the APOC Grip Better Than the Gun It's Inspired By
TriStar put real thought into the ergonomics here. The grip uses multiple texture patterns for a secure hold, the trigger guard has a pronounced undercut to let you ride the gun higher for more control, and there's a textured memory pad on both sides of the frame forward of the trigger. Backstraps are interchangeable, so you can dial in the fit to your hand. At around 25 ounces unloaded, it balances well and doesn't feel like a brick in a holster.
The steel fiber-optic sights front and rear make for fast target acquisition in daylight, and since they're dimensionally compatible with Glock aftermarket sights, swapping them out down the road is straightforward. The slide has front and rear cocking serrations for easy manipulation, and the molded Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover gives you a proper two-slot rail for mounting a light or laser. Worth noting: the slide is not optics-cut from the factory, so if you want to run a red dot you'd need to have it milled or swap in an aftermarket slide.
TriStar APOC Range Performance and Reliability
TriStar puts every APOC through testing at multiple stages of production, and the design is purpose-built for consistent cycling. Like most new pistols, give it a good cleaning and lubrication before the first range trip and let it break in over the first couple hundred rounds. The trigger breaks cleanly at around 5.6 pounds with a distinctive red insert in the shoe. Two 15-round Glock-pattern magazines are included right out of the box, and standard G19 magazines work just fine as backups.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the TriStar APOC compatible with Glock 19 holsters and magazines?
Yes, the APOC is dimensionally based on the Gen 3 Glock 19, so the vast majority of G19-pattern holsters should fit without issue. The included magazines are Glock-compatible and standard G19 magazines work as well. Aftermarket Glock sights are also compatible with the APOC's sight cuts.
Does the TriStar APOC come optics-ready from the factory?
No, the APOC does not have an optics cut in the slide from the factory. It runs steel fiber-optic fixed sights out of the box. If you want to mount a red dot, you'd need to have the slide milled or source an aftermarket optics-ready slide, which is feasible given its compatibility with Glock Gen 3 components.
What is the trigger pull like on the APOC?
The APOC uses a striker-fired trigger with a red insert in the trigger shoe that gives it a more aggressive look than a standard Glock trigger. Pull weight runs around 5.5 to 6 pounds, which is consistent with the Gen 3 G19 factory feel. It's a clean, predictable break that most people find comfortable for both carry and range use.
Who makes the TriStar APOC?
The APOC is manufactured by Kral Arms in Turkey and imported by TriStar Arms, which is based in Missouri. TriStar has been importing quality firearms to the US since the late 1990s and covers the APOC with a five-year warranty.
Can I mount a weapon light on the TriStar APOC?
Yes, the APOC has a molded Picatinny accessory rail built into the dustcover of the frame. It is a two-slot rail rather than the single proprietary slot found on standard Glock pistols. Most compact weapon lights designed for Picatinny rails will work, though fit can vary by brand, so confirming compatibility with your specific light before purchasing is a good idea.
How many magazines does the TriStar APOC come with?
The APOC ships with two 15-round Glock-compatible magazines. Having a spare right out of the box is a nice touch, whether you're running drills at the range or setting it up for home defense. Standard Glock 19 pattern magazines will also function in the APOC.
