The Trijicon DI Night Sight Multi-Color Fiber Replacement Set (AC50016) is the swap kit for anyone running Trijicon's DI dual-illumination pistol sights who wants to fine-tune the front sight to their own eyes. One of the things that made the DI system stand out is that the fiber optic pipe is user-replaceable, a first for the industry, so instead of being stuck with whatever came installed, you can change the color yourself and even carry spares in your range bag.
This pack ships with eight pre-cut fiber segments: two green, two red, two amber, and two orange. That gives you the full range of daytime contrast options to test against your own vision and lighting. Green tends to read brightest to most eyes and works well in a wide range of light, while red, amber, and orange each give a different pop depending on your target backdrop and personal preference. The tritium lamp behind the fiber stays put, so your low-light and total-darkness aiming point is unaffected no matter which color you run.
These fibers use the same chemical and heat resistant material and proprietary finishing technique found on the legendary Trijicon ACOG, so they hold up to real-world carry and range use. On the DI sight, a threaded steel retainer on the front post locks the fiber pipe in place. Unscrew it, drop the fiber against the back shelf, and thread the retainer back to hand-tight. It's a quick job at the bench and easy enough to do in the field if a pipe ever gets damaged.
Keep in mind these are replacement fibers only, made specifically for Trijicon DI Night Sights. They won't fit standard fiber sight housings from other setups, so this is strictly a companion kit for shooters already running the DI platform who want color options and backup spares ready to go.

The tritium lamp behind the fiber is separate from the replaceable pipe, so your low-light and total-darkness dot stays the same regardless of the daytime fiber color you choose. Keep in mind the fiber itself only glows in daylight, while the tritium handles the dark. Green is the most popular pick for all-around brightness.
It's a quick job. A threaded steel retainer on the front sight unscrews to let you pull out a damaged or old fiber and drop in a new one against the back shelf, then you thread the retainer back to hand-tight. Trijicon designed it to be doable at the bench or even in the field.
