There is no ballistic trade-off hiding in that compact footprint. You get a full 16 inch barrel with a 1-in-10 twist, threaded 1/2×28 for a suppressor or your favorite muzzle device, and 9mm picks up real velocity out of a barrel that long compared to any pistol. The direct blowback action feeds through the grip using Glock pattern magazines, so mags are cheap, everywhere, and you probably already own a stack of them. This version ships with one 10 round magazine, and the stock even has built-in storage for a spare. Up top, a Picatinny rail is ready for a red dot or LPVO since the rifle comes optics ready with no sights installed. The adjustable stock collapses and extends to fit different shooters and gear setups, with an overall length of 29.7 inches fully extended.
Trailblazer thought past the hinge itself. The Pivot will not fire when folded, it cannot be closed with a magazine inserted, and there is a manual safety on top of that. The copper anodized finish gives this American-made rifle a look you will not find on the rack next to a sea of black carbines.
