The frame and slide are both stainless steel, the barrel is cold hammer-forged, and the overall fit and finish is genuinely solid for where this gun sits price-wise.
The setup here is a Government-size frame mated to a Commander-length slide, which is a combination that a lot of 1911 guys prefer for carry. You get the full grip of a Government model for a consistent hold and better recoil management, but the 4.25" barrel and trimmed slide shave a little length off the front end. The flared and lowered ejection port, front and rear slide serrations, undercut trigger guard, and beveled magazine well are all details that make this gun easier and more pleasant to run.
