It mounts directly to any US manufactured KeyMod handguard, and the low, forward rake plays perfectly with the thumb-over or thumb-forward shooting style a lot of folks run these days. At right around 2 3/4 inches long, it fills the hand nicely while still keeping a slim footprint on the rail.
