Instead of leaving you with generic stamped steel components, this kit swaps in CNC-machined billet aluminum pieces with a cross-hatch texture and rounded edges, so the parts that get the most contact with your hands actually feel like it. It is a mil-spec fit, so it drops into any standard AR-15 lower receiver without any fitting or filing.
This kit is built around the Timber Creek ambidextrous safety selector, which lets you configure the throw at either 45 or 90 degrees and swap the lever lengths between sides to match how you actually run the rifle. Alongside that you get the magazine release button, takedown and pivot pins, bolt catch and its related springs and pins, buffer retention pin, trigger pins, and all the small detent springs and pins a lower build calls for. The one thing to keep in mind is that the trigger, trigger guard, and pistol grip are not part of this kit, which is intentional. Timber Creek leaves those out so you can pick your own trigger group and grip rather than being stuck with a stock option you did not choose.
