TangoDown took their original Stubby grip, the one that built its reputation on duty rifles, and gave it a rail interface made specifically for M-LOK handguards. The BGV-ML1 keeps that same short, hand-filling shape people already trust and pairs it with a mounting system that locks directly into the rail. At just over three inches long and right around 2.2 ounces, it stays out of the way while giving your support hand something solid to drive the gun with.
The body is a heat and impact modified polymer with a comfortable injection-molded contour, so it fills the hand nicely without hot spots during long strings. Inside is where TangoDown got clever. Instead of clamping like a typical M-LOK accessory, the grip uses a patented interface with two jaws that seat into an M-LOK slot, then lock down when you tighten a single set screw at the front of the grip. It is a different setup from what most folks are used to, so give the included instructions a quick read the first time and check that the jaws are fully engaged before you snug it down.
All the mounting hardware is Mil-Spec grade. The fasteners are stainless steel with Vibra-Tite thread locker already applied at the factory, and the internal mount is aircraft grade aluminum finished in Type III hard coat anodize. That combination is what keeps the grip from walking loose under recoil and repeated handling. Once it is dialed in, future removal and reinstallation is as simple as loosening and tightening that one set screw.
The short length works well for a thumb-forward or C-clamp style hold, and the mount is fully reversible so it runs the same whether you shoot right or left handed. Built in the USA, it fits handguards that meet the M-LOK TDP spec, making it an easy upgrade for a carbine, a competition build, or a truck gun you want to keep lean and controllable.

It is designed for handguards that meet the M-LOK TDP spec, which covers the vast majority of M-LOK rails on the market. It works on carbine and rifle length handguards alike. Keep in mind the mount locks into a slot, so it seats at the M-LOK slot positions rather than anywhere in between.
TangoDown builds this with Mil-Spec hardware to prevent that. The stainless steel fasteners come with Vibra-Tite thread locker pre-applied and the aluminum mount wears a Type III hard coat anodized finish, so once it is tightened correctly it is built to stay put through long-term use.
