TacSol machines the Aeris from titanium and stainless steel, which is how it stays this light without going soft on durability. The baffle stack and body are titanium, backed up by a stainless steel split tube, so it shrugs off heat and corrosion through case after case of bulk .22. It threads on with a standard 1/2×28 pattern, which covers the vast majority of threaded rimfire pistols and rifles out there, and it handles .22 LR, .22 WMR, .17 HMR, .17 HM2, and .17 WSM. That flexibility makes it one can that can float between your squirrel rifle, your suppressed pistol, and the magnum rimfire in the safe.

Very nearly. At 1 inch in outside diameter, the Aeris only adds a hair over the width of a .920 bull barrel, so it blends into the lines of most tactical-style rimfire rifles. Combined with the 3-inch length and 3-ounce weight, it barely changes how the gun balances or handles.
Quicksand is TacSol's sandy tan anodized finish, similar in tone to FDE and a great match for earth-tone builds. Because it's applied through anodizing, the exact shade can vary slightly from one can to the next. If you prefer a traditional look, the Aeris is also offered in matte black.
