Sylvan Arms did not cheap out on materials here. The tube is Grade 9 titanium, the baffle stack is Grade 5 titanium, and the blast chamber and blast baffle are 17-4 stainless steel, which puts the tougher material right where the most abuse happens. The result is a can that comes in at 13.75 ounces without the muzzle device and 8.2 inches long, light enough that it will not turn your hunting rifle into a boat anchor or throw off the balance of a carbine. The matte black Cerakote finish keeps it low key and holds up to field wear.
The Warthog delivers an average 27 decibel reduction with standard velocity ammunition, which takes the crack out of range sessions and makes a noticeable difference on hunts where you want to keep your ears and stay aware of your surroundings.
