The Performance Center SW22 Victory Target is the upgraded version of the standard Victory, and the differences show up where they count. The 6-inch fluted stainless steel barrel wears a custom muzzle brake, and up top you get a green fiber optic front sight paired with an adjustable fiber optic rear. If you would rather run glass, S&W includes a Picatinny rail section that swaps in for the rear sight, so mounting a red dot takes just a few minutes.
The trigger is the star here. Performance Center fitted a flat face target trigger with an adjustable stop, which gives you the same finger placement shot after shot and a crisp break without a lot of overtravel. The Tandemkross hiveGrips with built-in thumb rest lock your hand into the same position every time, and the extended magazine release, beveled mag well, and polished feed ramp keep everything running smooth during a match or a long range session. At 38.2 ounces with an 11.25-inch overall length, it has enough heft to sit dead steady on the sights.

A single takedown screw pulls the barrel and receiver apart for cleaning, which matters more with rimfire ammo than most people admit. The barrel is also threaded 1/2×28 under that brake, so you have options down the road.
