The standard Shield EZ earned its reputation by being the pistol just about anyone can run. Easy-rack slide, easy-load magazines, simple takedown. This Performance Center version keeps all of that and layers on the good stuff: a ported barrel that vents gas upward to knock down muzzle flip, lightening cuts in the slide, and a flat-faced anodized aluminum trigger with a crisp break and a reset you can both feel and hear. It is a noticeably faster, flatter-shooting gun than the base model without giving up any of the friendliness that made the EZ a hit in the first place.
