Description
Hang a typical .308 can off the end of a precision rifle and you feel it immediately. The balance shifts, the rifle gets nose heavy, and hiking with it gets old fast. That is exactly the problem the SOCOM762-Ti2 was built to solve. SureFire took the signature reduction performance of their SOCOM line and packed it into a titanium alloy body that weighs a mere 11 ounces, so your rifle handles almost like the suppressor is not even there.
What Makes the SOCOM762-Ti2 Different
The internals are where this can earns its keep. The baffle stack is a Direct Metal Laser Sintered, V-shaped titanium design, which means the baffles are built as a precisely aligned structure rather than a stack of individual parts. That translates to excellent bore concentricity, better structural integrity, and the kind of repeatable accuracy that matters when you are stretching a 7.62 rifle out to distance. SureFire's internal venting distributes gases evenly as the bullet exits, which cuts down on the pressure impulse at the muzzle and helps keep point of impact shift minimal and consistent. Beyond sound reduction, you also get near total elimination of first round flash and noticeably less dust kicked up when firing prone, which is a real benefit for hunters and anyone shooting off the ground.
Fast-Attach Mounting on Your Terms
Like the rest of the SOCOM family, the Ti2 uses SureFire's patented tool-less Fast-Attach system. It locks up tight on SureFire muzzle brake and flash hider adapters with multiple bearing surfaces for a rock solid, repeatable fit, and it comes off just as quickly when you want the rifle bare. If you already run SureFire mounts on other rifles, this can drops right into your setup.
Built for Bolt Guns and Long Days Afield
SureFire designed this suppressor to exceed military sniper rifle specs, but the folks who will appreciate it most are hunters and precision shooters who carry their rifles more than they shoot them. Finished in durable DLC and Cerakote and made in the USA, the SOCOM762-Ti2 is a lightweight can that gives up very little to get there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a separate muzzle device to mount the SOCOM762-Ti2?
Yes. The Ti2 uses SureFire's tool-less Fast-Attach system, so it mounts to SureFire SFMB muzzle brakes and SF3P flash hider adapters, which are sold separately. The upside is that once you have adapters on multiple rifles, you can swap this can between them in seconds. If you already own SureFire mounts from another SOCOM series can, they will work here too.
Is the SOCOM762-Ti2 rated for semi-auto rifles or just bolt guns?
SureFire built this one specifically for bolt-action precision rifles and hunting rifles, which is where the titanium weight savings shine. If you plan to run high volumes of fire through a semi-auto 7.62 rifle, the Inconel-based SOCOM762-RC2 is the better match. For a bolt gun that gets carried a lot and shot deliberately, the Ti2 is the pick.
How much does the SOCOM762-Ti2 affect accuracy and point of impact?
Very little, and that is the whole point of the design. The laser-sintered baffle stack gives exceptional bore concentricity and alignment, and the internal venting evens out gas pressure as the bullet exits the muzzle. The result is a minimal, repeatable point of impact shift and accuracy that holds up at long range.
How much length and weight does this add to my rifle?
The suppressor is 7.9 inches overall but only adds about 5.4 inches past the muzzle since it telescopes back over the mounting adapter. At 11 ounces, it is one of the lightest cans in its class, so the change in balance and handling is minor compared to steel suppressors that often run a pound or more.
