The multi-fuel setup is the standout here. It ships with Streamlight's SL-B9 protected lithium-ion battery pack that charges right through a USB-C cord, and it'll also run off a single CR123A lithium cell if you'd rather keep spares in a drawer. On the rechargeable pack you get the full 1000 lumens for about 30 minutes, or you can program it down to 500 lumens and stretch that to an hour. Drop in a CR123A and you're looking at 500 lumens for roughly an hour and a half. The red laser sips power and runs for hours on its own.
The rail-grip clamp lets you mount and pull the light without ever putting a hand in front of the muzzle, which is exactly how it should work. You get ambidextrous rear paddle switches with high and low positions, plus a set of interchangeable paddles in the box so you can tune the feel to your grip.
