The Strike Industries M-LOK Cable Management Cover in the short 1.57" FDE version fixes that by giving you a dedicated channel to route and store that excess cable right inside the cover cavity. It bolts straight to any M-LOK slot and turns messy wiring into a clean, purpose-built setup.
The heart of this cover is the patent-pending SI Cable Management System, or CMS. Instead of taping down wire or reaching for cable ties, you tuck the slack into the cover itself. The routing is flexible too, so you can run cables alongside the handguard, across to the other side, at a 90-degree angle, or in a U-shape depending on where your light and pressure pad live. That kind of freedom makes it easy to build a layout that works for how you actually hold and run the gun.
Beyond wire management, this doubles as a solid rail cover. The contoured, textured surface gives your support hand something to grab onto, and it helps cut down on heat transfer between a hot barrel and your palm. It also caps off those sharp M-LOK slot edges that love to chew up your hand during a long range session. At just 0.24 inches tall, it stays low-profile so it never bulks up your handguard.
Made from durable, lightweight polymer, the short cover measures 1.57 inches long by 0.87 inches wide and weighs next to nothing. Because these are the short version, they're great for shorter handguards or for spot-covering just the section where your cable runs. Keep in mind that with polymer parts you may see a slight bow out of the package, which flattens right out once you torque it down properly against the rail.
The short version ships as a 4-pack, so you get four covers per package. It also includes four screws, four nuts, a T20 Torx tool, and a bottle of blue threadlocker. That's everything you need to mount them without a trip to the parts drawer.
It's designed to bolt onto any standard M-LOK rail slot, so it works with most modern free-float handguards using that system. It will not fit KeyMod or Picatinny-only rails. Just line the hardware up with an open M-LOK slot and torque it down.
