The light itself is no slouch. It pushes 1,000 lumens through a TIR optic that produces 20,000 candela and reaches out to 283 meters, so you get a tight, usable beam with enough spill to light up a whole room. Two included CR123A lithium batteries give you about 1.5 hours of continuous runtime on high, which is the only setting because a defensive light does not need modes to fumble through. The elongated pressure pad runs down both sides of the forend, so it works the same whether you're right or left handed, with both momentary and constant-on operation.
The orange coloring on this version marks it for less lethal setups, which is why you'll see it running alongside beanbag and specialty loads in training and duty environments.
