Coast SPG500 Safety Glasses with Built-In Rechargeable Light Black/Red

Description

The Coast SPG500 solves a problem anyone who works in tight, dim spaces knows well: you need both hands free and you need light pointed exactly where your eyes are. These safety glasses build a rechargeable LED right into the frame, so the beam follows your line of sight whether you're under a dash, in an attic, or poking around the back of a breaker panel. The lenses carry an ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 impact rating, so they're real eye protection and not just a novelty with a light attached.

What Sets the SPG500 Apart

The standout feature here is the Bulls-Eye tilt-and-twist optic. You can pivot the light head to aim it and twist the bezel to shift between a wide flood beam and a tight, focused spot. That spot beam throws a bright hot center with a softer halo around it, which is handy for picking out detail at a distance while still keeping your surroundings lit. Two output modes, high and low, let you dial the brightness to match the job instead of blasting full power when you don't need it.

Lenses and Comfort on the SPG500

The glasses come with clear lenses installed plus a set of interchangeable yellow lenses that boost contrast in low-light or overcast conditions. Both are treated with anti-scratch and anti-fog coatings and filter UV, so they hold up to rough use and stay clear when you move between temperatures. Padded nose and temple pieces keep them planted during active work, which matters when you're moving around and don't want them sliding.

Charging the Coast SPG500

Power comes from an integrated rechargeable battery that tops off through the built-in port using the included cable, so there's no fumbling with disposable cells. On a full charge you'll get long runtime out of a single session, enough to cover most of a workday depending on your mode. It's a practical setup for mechanics, electricians, hunters scanning the treeline, and anyone who regularly works where the overhead lighting just isn't cutting it.
