The Echo choke adapter is the missing link between your Benelli and the Salvo 12. It threads directly into the Crio or Crio Plus choke threads on your barrel, replacing the factory tube, and gives you an external thread with a locking ring that the Salvo 12 clamps onto. No gunsmithing, no permanent changes to the shotgun. Pull your old choke, spin this one in, and you are ready to run suppressed.
What makes this setup smart is that the adapter is a real choke, not just a mounting collar. This version, part number AC1311, carries an Improved Modified constriction, so you get a tighter pattern with good pellet density at distance while the suppressor hangs off the front. Echo adapters are cut for specific choke systems, and this one fits Benelli Crio and Crio Plus threaded barrels. It is made specifically for the SilencerCo Salvo 12 shotgun suppressor. The adapter threads into your barrel in place of the factory choke and provides the external threads and locking ring the Salvo 12 mounts to. It is not a mount for other suppressor models.
This version is cut for Benelli Crio and Crio Plus choke threads, which cover most modern Benelli barrels like the M2 and Super Black Eagle lines. If your gun uses the older Beretta/Benelli Mobil thread pattern, you will need that version of the Echo adapter instead. When in doubt, check your barrel markings or the choke tubes that came with the gun.
It does, in a good way. This adapter is a functioning choke with an Improved Modified constriction, so it tightens your pattern for longer range work rather than leaving you stuck with an open bore. If you want a different spread, SilencerCo offers Echo adapters in other constrictions for the Crio system.
No, SilencerCo advises against running steel shot through Improved Modified or Full constrictions. Stick with lead loads through this one. It is also not designed for use with flight controlled wads, so choose your ammo accordingly.
