The LoPro Mini has a 50-yard visible range in daylight conditions and stretches to 600 yards at night. Daylight visibility depends on ambient light and how bright the sun is that particular day, but the green wavelength performs noticeably better than red lasers when the sun is out. At night, the full 600-yard range opens up.
The low-profile design works well alongside iron sights and won't block your sight picture. However, the laser dot and iron sight picture operate independently, so you'll be managing two different aiming references. Many users mount the laser forward on the rail and keep their primary optic or irons behind it for redundancy.
