If you've been wanting to run a red dot on your CZ but didn't want to permanently cut the slide, this EGW mount is the simple way to get there. It's a machined adapter plate that drops right into the rear dovetail in place of your factory rear sight, giving you a stable platform for a Vortex Viper, Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter footprint optic. No gunsmithing, no permanent modification, and you can pull it back off and reinstall your rear sight whenever you want.
Made from 7075 aluminum with a matte black hardcoat anodized finish, this plate is built to shrug off recoil and hold its zero round after round. It measures 1.811 inches long and 0.99 inches wide, so it sits low and tucks in close to the slide instead of adding a bulky tower up top. The dovetail is cut with a progressive taper, which makes sliding it into place from left to right a good deal easier than fighting a straight-wall dovetail.
This is the 49326 model, built specifically for the CZ 75, 75 SP-01, 75 SP-01 Phantom, 85, 97B, 97D, P-01, and PCR. On the PCR you can expect a small gap under the front of the plate, which is normal for that frame. It also fits the Tristar P120. Fitment on the SP-01 Shadow variants and the P-07/P-09 can vary between sources, so if you're running one of those, it's worth confirming your exact slide cut before ordering.
Installation is straightforward: remove the rear sight, slide the EGW mount into the dovetail, then set your optic on top. EGW recommends a dab of blue Loctite on the mounting screws and torquing them to 15 in/lbs. A handy trick is slipping a small piece of paper between the optic and the plate during install to keep the Loctite off your sight and make future removal cleaner. The kit ships with the right hardware for whichever optic you're mounting, so you're ready to go out of the box.
No, that's the whole point of this plate. It replaces your factory rear sight in the existing dovetail cut, so there's no permanent machining required. You can also remove it and put your original rear sight back on at any time.
It's built for Docter footprint optics, which covers the Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Burris FastFire, and Docter sights. The kit includes button head screws for the Vortex sights and flat head screws for the FastFire and Docter. A 5/64 inch allen wrench handles the install.
Yes, the P-01 is directly supported. The PCR fits as well, though you can expect a small gap under the front of the adapter plate, which is normal and doesn't affect function. This mount is the 49326 for the CZ 75 series family.
