Sig Sauer engineered this collapsible stock specifically for the MCX and MPX platforms, which sets it apart from universal adapters you might find elsewhere. It mounts straight onto the 1913 Picatinny interface at the rear of your receiver, meaning zero gunsmithing and zero surprises during installation. Just slide it on and you're done.
What makes this stock special compared to folding designs is the actual collapsing mechanism. Instead of pivoting to the side, this one telescopes inward, giving you a noticeably more compact package for storage and transport. That PDW-style profile means your firearm shrinks considerably when you need it to, which matters whether you're moving between vehicles, navigating tight spaces, or just want a smaller footprint in your bag.
You get three different lengths of pull, so you're not locked into one shooting position. Adjust the stock to fit your body, your gear, whether you're wearing a plate carrier or just range clothes. The rubber recoil pad helps absorb impact, and integral sling attachment points give you solid anchor points if you're running a two-point or single-point setup.
This is a genuine Sig Sauer factory part, not an aftermarket adapter kit. That means the materials, the fit to your receiver, and the overall durability are dialed in from the manufacturer. The black finish matches the rest of your MCX or MPX, and users consistently mention how sturdy and well-made it feels when extended and when fully collapsed.
Yes, this stock is designed specifically for both MCX and MPX platforms with a 1913 interface at the rear of the receiver. It works on both rifle and pistol configurations that have the 1913 Picatinny rail. Just make sure your specific variant has the rear 1913 rail for attachment.
Installation is straightforward with no gunsmithing required. The stock simply slides onto your receiver's 1913 interface and locks securely in place. It takes just a few minutes and requires no special tools or modifications to your firearm.
The collapsible design creates a significantly more compact profile than traditional folding stocks, though exact measurements vary depending on your barrel length and other components. The telescoping mechanism lets you adjust it to three different positions, giving you flexibility for storage, transport, and different shooting setups.
No, this stock is designed specifically for MCX and MPX receivers and will not work with standard AR-15 platform firearms. The MCX and MPX receivers have their own internal system that's incompatible with AR-15 buffer tubes.
