The Sig Sauer P320 X-Series Compact Large Grip Module is a factory upgrade designed for owners of the P320 who want better ergonomics without changing their overall platform. Built from lightweight polymer, this large grip module works with your existing P320 firing control group and delivers a more substantial, controllable feel in the hand.
Sig's X-Series modules set themselves apart through smart design improvements. The grip features an extended beavertail for a higher hand position and better recoil control, an undercut trigger guard that brings your hands higher on the gun, and an integrated flared magwell for smoother reloads. The grip also includes refined texturing that enhances grip traction without harsh stippling that catches on gear.
This module accepts P320 compact slides in both 3.60 inch and 3.90 inch barrel lengths, making it versatile for different build configurations. The large grip size accommodates the standard 15-round compact magazines and pairs well with 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG calibers. Note that X-Series modules require magazines with the SIG mark on the baseplate rather than ones labeled SIG SAUER.
The modular P320 platform means you can swap this grip to customize your gun's feel, appearance, and handling characteristics without specialized tools. If you already own a P320 Compact, this module upgrades your grip experience while keeping your existing firing control unit and slide. For those considering different carry positions or shooting applications, having multiple grip options is one of the P320's strongest advantages.
You'll need your existing P320 or P250 firing control unit. The modular design lets you simply transfer the FCU from your current grip into this module without any gunsmithing. The large X-Series Compact module works with standard P320 FCUs that do not have a manual safety.
Yes, this module is specifically designed to fit both 3.6 inch and 3.9 inch Compact slides. The 3.9 inch option provides a flush fit with better dust cover coverage, while the 3.6 inch configuration will have a very slight overhang. Both configurations function perfectly.
This module works with 15-round compact magazines that have the SIG mark on the baseplate. It will not work with older magazines labeled SIG SAUER on the baseplate. The large grip size is designed around standard compact magazine capacity.
The X-Series offers a thinner profile with added grip texturing for better control, an extended beavertail for higher hand positioning, and an undercut trigger guard that improves grip geometry. Most users find the X-Series ergonomically superior for both comfort and recoil management.
