The P365X in Robin's Egg Blue is the same workhorse 9mm that carry-focused shooters have been reaching for since the P365 platform reshaped the EDC world, finished head-to-toe in a SKYDAS Custom Cerakote that makes it one of the more distinctive pistols in the lineup. At 17.8 ounces unloaded and just 1.1 inches wide, it disappears under a cover garment the way a gun this capable really has no business doing.
The X-Series grip module is the key difference between this and the base P365. It's taller, giving you a full firing grip with all four fingers on the gun, and it pairs flush with the 12-round steel magazine so there's no extended baseplate sticking out to print through clothing. The integrated magwell funnel makes reloads more positive under stress, and the grip texture is aggressive enough to stay put in a solid hold without turning into a cheese grater on your skin through a full day of carry. The XSeries flat trigger is standard here, delivering a clean 90-degree break that improves consistency and control shot to shot.
Sig ships the P365X with XRAY3 Day/Night sights, which are genuinely some of the best iron sights in the micro-compact segment. The front sight features a tritium insert with a green-tinted bright ring for quick daylight pick-up, and at night the three-dot tritium system lights up clearly without needing any ambient light assist. The slide is optic-ready with a Compact (Shield RMSc) footprint, so you can drop in a compatible micro red dot without sending the slide off to a gunsmith. The optic channel is cut independent of the rear sight dovetail, which is worth knowing before you mount an optic.
The Robin's Egg Blue SKYDAS Cerakote covers the entire pistol, frame and slide together, giving it a cohesive, purpose-built look rather than a mismatched two-tone. Cerakote as a finish adds genuine corrosion resistance over bare polymer or raw steel, and it holds up well against the daily wear of holster carry. Sig backs all P365X pistols with their fully transferable Infinite Guarantee, no receipts or warranty cards required.
The P365X uses the X-Series grip module, which is taller than the standard P365 grip and gives you a full four-finger hold on the gun. It also comes standard with the XSeries flat trigger and an optic-ready slide with the Compact (Shield RMSc) footprint. The overall barrel and slide length stay the same as the original P365, so the shorter carry profile is preserved while the grip height matches what you'd find on the P365XL.
The P365X slide is cut with a Compact footprint compatible with the Shield RMSc and similar micro red dot sights, including the Sig ROMEOZero series. The optic mounting channel is cut independently from the rear sight dovetail, so the XRAY3 rear sight stays in place whether or not you mount an optic. Co-witnessing with an optic installed is not supported on this configuration.
The SKYDAS Custom Cerakote finish is applied to both the frame and slide, providing solid corrosion resistance and better wear resistance than bare polymer or standard anodizing. Cerakote is a well-established firearm coating used across the industry for exactly this purpose. That said, like any finish, heavy or prolonged holster use will eventually show some wear at contact points over time.
No, this specific model does not include a manual safety. The P365X is available in variants with and without a manual safety, and MPN 365X-9-BXR3P (this Robin's Egg Blue version) is the no-safety configuration. If a manual safety is a priority for you, Sig offers the P365X with that option under a different model number.
It ships with two 12-round flush-fit steel magazines. Both are the standard flush configuration that keeps the grip profile consistent and print-resistant during carry. The P365 magazine platform is also compatible with higher-capacity options from Sig if you want to run extended magazines for range use.
The shorter 3.1-inch barrel and slide make the P365X particularly well-suited for appendix or AIWB carry, since there is less muzzle to manage compared to longer-barreled options like the P365XL. The gun weighs under 18 ounces unloaded and is just over an inch wide, so it sits comfortably in most AIWB holster setups. The full-length X-Series grip does add some height compared to the base P365, but most dedicated carry holsters for the P365X accommodate this without issue.
