Description
The P226 has been earning its keep for decades, and the XCarry Legion is what happens when Sig takes everything they learned from the XFIVE Legion competition guns and shrinks it down for the belt. You get an all-metal build with an alloy X-Series frame, a stainless slide dressed in Legion Gray Cerakote, and a 3.8-inch match-grade bull barrel with a 35/35 degree reverse target crown. That bull barrel puts a little extra weight up front, which settles the muzzle noticeably during fast strings. At 7.25 inches overall and around 32.8 ounces with a magazine, it carries like a compact but shoots like something bigger.
The XCarry Legion Trigger Is the Star of the Show
This is a single-action-only pistol, and the AX1 flat-faced trigger is a big part of why people gravitate to this model. The break is short and clean with adjustable over-travel, so you can tune it to your liking straight from the bench. An ambidextrous manual safety keeps the SAO setup carry-friendly, and the undercut trigger guard lets you choke up high on the Hogue G10 Legion grips for real leverage over recoil. There is also a 1913 rail up front if you run a light.
Optics Ready and Built to Grow With You
The slide comes cut for red dots using the SIG-LOC PRO system, which handles popular footprints including RMR, DeltaPoint Pro, and ROMEO1Pro/ROMEO2, so mounting your preferred optic does not require a trip to a machinist. Until you bolt one on, the XRAY3 day/night sights give you a bright, fast picture in any lighting. It is also compatible with XFIVE series parts like controls, magwells, and sight plates, so the platform can evolve as your shooting does.
Three 18-Round Mags in the Box
Sig ships the P226-XCarry Legion with three flush-fit 18-round steel magazines, which is a genuinely useful loadout whether you are running drills at the range or keeping a spare loaded at home. Capacity, trigger, and balance in one carry-sized metal frame gun is a combination that is tough to beat.

Frequently Asked Questions
What red dot optics fit the P226-XCarry Legion SAO?
The slide uses Sig's SIG-LOC PRO optic mounting system, which accommodates several popular footprints including Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and Sig's own ROMEO1Pro and ROMEO2. That covers most of the mainstream pistol dots on the market. No custom slide milling is needed, just mount your optic and go.
Is the P226-XCarry Legion good for concealed carry with a single-action trigger?
Yes, and that is exactly what it was designed for. It pairs the light, crisp AX1 single-action trigger with an ambidextrous manual safety, so it carries cocked and locked much like a 1911. At 7.25 inches long with a 3.8-inch barrel, it is sized for the belt while still giving you 18+1 rounds of 9mm.
How does the XCarry Legion differ from the standard P226 Legion?
The XCarry is part of the newer P226X Legion series inspired by the XFIVE Legion competition pistols. It adds a match-grade bull barrel with a reverse target crown, the adjustable AX1 flat trigger, flush-fit 18-round magazines instead of 15-rounders, and a factory optic-ready slide. It is also compatible with XFIVE series parts like controls, magwells, and sight plates for easy customization.
How many magazines come with the Sig P226-XCarry Legion?
This model ships with three flush-fit 18-round steel magazines from the factory. That gives you 54 rounds of on-hand capacity out of the box, which is a nice bonus at this level since spare Sig mags are not cheap.
