The 6mm Creedmoor is a favorite in precision rifle competition because it pushes high-BC bullets fast with noticeably less recoil than the 6.5, which helps you stay in the scope and spot your own hits. The tradeoff is somewhat shorter barrel life, but for match use the softer recoil impulse is usually worth it. The 1:7 twist on this barrel handles heavy match bullets like 105 to 110 grain loads without issue.
