The stock polymer grip on the Sig P365 X-Macro is fine, but it leaves a lot on the table. This Gen 3 module from Sharps Bros is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish and dressed up with G10 Hyena Gunner grip panels for real texture and traction. It bolts on as a direct replacement for the factory frame, so you keep your slide, FCU, and magazines and simply give the gun a better foundation to shoot from.
The G3 is the newest step in the lineup, and the updates are more than cosmetic. It carries significantly improved ergonomics, more aggressive grip panel texturing, a redesigned steel lug system, and provisions for a mag funnel. The trigger guard gets an enhanced geometry with an undercut and finger grooves so your hand rides higher and locks in tighter. Ambidextrous thumb ledges on both sides give you a natural indexing point whether you shoot right or left handed.
The factory Sig module measures 1.1 inches wide at the grip, while this one comes in at 1.3 inches. That extra width fills the hand for a more solid, robust hold without turning the gun into a brick or killing concealability. The aluminum construction also adds a few ounces over the plastic frame, and folks who run these consistently note that the added weight up front takes the edge off felt recoil and helps the gun track flatter between shots. A standard M1913 Picatinny rail lets you hang a light on the front.
Installation is straightforward and most people have theirs swapped over in a few minutes. Because of the integrated thumb ledges, a lot of existing Kydex holsters will need minor heat reforming for a clean fit, and there are holster makers building specifically for these modules if you'd rather buy new.
