Most AR-9 builds leave you shopping for an optic, a light, and a bag before you ever hit the range. The Shark Coast Tactical Midnight bundle skips all that. This 9mm pistol comes paired with a Vortex Crossfire red dot mounted on a riser, a Streamlight ProTac rail mount light with a pressure pad, an SB Tactical SBA3 brace, and a 36 inch double rifle bag. The heart of this pistol is a billet ambidextrous lower that runs 9mm Glock-pattern magazines, which means cheap, plentiful mags you can find just about anywhere. A 33-round magazine ships with it, and the lower features last round hold open so reloads feel like a proper AR instead of the older PCC designs that leave you guessing. The 5 inch threaded barrel keeps the whole package tight at just 21.25 inches overall, and the threads are ready for your favorite muzzle device or suppressor. Up top you get a Picatinny rail for the optic, with an M-LOK handguard for the light, pressure pad, or whatever else you want to hang on it. The Midnight is the follow-up to the popular SCT9-2, and Shark Coast gave it a solid list of upgrades over that earlier gun.
A compact 9mm like this makes a lot of sense for a lot of jobs. Ammo is affordable, recoil is soft, and the short overall length handles great in tight spaces. For anyone who wants a complete pistol caliber setup without piecing it together, the Midnight covers the bases right out of the bag.

The 5 inch barrel comes threaded from the factory, so you can add a suppressor or your preferred muzzle device without any gunsmithing. A 9mm PCC like this is one of the more popular suppressor hosts out there since the caliber runs quiet with subsonic ammo.
It works well for both. The 21.25 inch overall length handles nicely indoors, the included light covers low light situations, and 9mm keeps recoil soft and ammo costs low for regular practice. It is also a great trainer for anyone learning the AR platform without the muzzle blast of a rifle caliber.
