Dialing in an AR gas system usually means fussing with long allen keys or tearing off the rail just to make a small change. The Seekins Precision Select Adjustable Gas Block skips all of that. It gives you true tool-free, on-the-fly gas adjustment through a clever selector switch, and it was born out of a government program that needed rifles to run suppressed or unsuppressed out in the field without any downtime.
Here's the two-step logic that makes this thing so handy. First you set your baseline: run an allen wrench to turn the gas screw in to cut gas or out to add it, tuning across a 40-position fine adjustment until the rifle cycles the way you want. Once that initial setting is locked in, you attach the gas switch and never touch the screw again. From there the selector does the work. Flip it left for your minimum gas setting with a can attached, rotate it right to add gas when you pull the suppressor, the rifle gets dirty, or you swap to a load that needs more push. Suppressed .300 Blackout guys will appreciate that you can leave it left for supersonic and bump it right for subsonic.
This version fits barrels with a .875 inch gas block journal and sits low enough to tuck under most free-float handguards. It plays nice with standard gas tubes across pistol, carbine, mid-length, and rifle-length setups on both AR-15 and AR-10 platforms. The body is machined from tool steel and finished in black Melonite, which shrugs off wear and corrosion under the sustained heat and pressure that lives inside a gas system. At right around 2.5 ounces, it won't throw off the balance of a lightweight build.
