It keeps the five-position adjustability that made the SBA3 a go-to on AR pistol builds, but slims the whole package down to a 1.6-inch profile, the narrowest brace SB Tactical has released in this family. A full rubber arm cuff wraps the contact area, giving your forearm a more forgiving grip point than the harder shells found on earlier A-Series braces.
Brace only, the SBA6 runs about 6.5 inches long and weighs roughly 8.5 ounces, which puts it about 1.75 ounces heavier than the SBA3 but a ounce and a half lighter than the SBA4. Installed on a receiver extension, dealers list the assembly at around 7.1 inches collapsed and 9.5 inches fully extended across its five lock positions. That trimmed width matters if this build is headed into a slim case or a backpack where every fraction of an inch counts.
Installation follows the same HUB-style interface used across the A-Series. Depress the adjustment lever, slide the brace onto a mil-spec carbine receiver extension, and lock it into whichever of the five positions fits your setup best.
